Fourteen teachers from the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages received international TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) certificates from the Cambridge Testing Centre after completing a three-month online training course in modern English teaching methods. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The course took place from January to March 2025 as part of the ‘Accelerating English Language Learning in Central Asia’ (AELLCA) project, implemented with the support of the British Council and Nottingham Trent University. The training was conducted by experts from the United Kingdom, Stephen Sharpe and Dr. Sam Barkley.

The TKT certificate confirms proficiency in key areas of English language teaching and is recognised internationally.
