The forum is attended by Heads of States, representatives of the UN, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organisation and other organisations.
In his speech, the Head of the Turkmen delegation emphasised the importance of a new global approach to financing for development. M. Astanagulov confirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to its recommendations, including the implementation of strategies and programmes aimed at supporting landlocked countries.
The conference serves as a platform for discussing reforms in the global financing system, promoting sustainable development and removing barriers to investment. The importance of developing transport and logistics infrastructure in the context of global economic changes was noted separately.
The conviction was also expressed that the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries will strengthen international dialogue on sustainable development and expand partnerships in this area.
