Samantha Carl-Yoder, representative of the American company ‘Brownstein’, emphasised the importance of the ‘Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India’ (TAPI) gas pipeline and Turkmenistan's leadership in the development of regional cooperation. This was reported by the online news resource TerraNews.

According to her, Ashgabat's gratitude for US President Donald Trump's support for the project was positively received in Washington.

Carl-Yoder noted that ‘Brownstein’ advises the Turkmenistan government on the TAPI project and interacts with the White House, the National Security Council, the Department of Commerce and the US State Department to facilitate its implementation.

She emphasised that Turkmenistan has significant gas reserves, and the construction of TAPI will enable its export to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, strengthening regional security, energy and economic ties between countries.
