At the XXIV International ‘White City Ashgabat’ Exhibition, UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Marinheiro Centeno Rossbach praised the achievements of the Turkmen capital in her video message. She noted that Ashgabat successfully implements the principles of sustainable development, demonstrating progress in creating a green urban environment and modern infrastructure. In her speech, the UN-Habitat chief emphasised the compliance of Ashgabat's development with the global goals of urbanism, including the New Urban Agenda. Turkmenistan's efforts to create an inclusive urban environment combining technological progress with environmental safety were particularly appreciated.

‘We value the partnership with Turkmenistan and are confident that together we can create cities of the future - comfortable and safe for all,’ said S. Rossbach, confirming readiness for further co-operation.
