During the visit of the Turkmen delegation to China, Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, held a meeting with Li Bin, Head of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People's Republic of China. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The parties noted the long-standing friendly ties between the two nations and expressed their willingness to develop humanitarian cooperation. Oguljahan Atabayeva emphasised the Turkmen side's interest in exchanging experience and social projects.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two foundations.
