In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that the country's strategic goal is to ensure sustainable economic growth and expand international cooperation, particularly in the oil and gas industry.

According to B. Amanov, the participation of representatives from more than 70 countries and leading energy companies in the event demonstrates a high level of interest in joint investment initiatives and strengthening energy partnerships.

The conference is discussing ways to improve the efficiency of the oil and gas sector, transition to renewable energy sources, and reduce methane emissions.

Among the key areas of development for the industry, B. Amanov named the implementation of the ‘Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India’ gas pipeline project (TAPI), the development of offshore fields in the Caspian Sea with the participation of foreign investors, the advancement of scientific research, the creation of underground gas storage facilities, and the introduction of digital technologies in the management of the industry.
