Turkmen company “Aýdyň gijeler” will implement a major project in the Kingdom of Eswatini to produce national ID cards and biometric passports. This was announced by the company's branch director, Chary Myradov, in an interview with the newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan”, as reported by the news website Turkmenportal.
According to him, following a working visit by the company’s delegation to Eswatini in January 2026, the parties reached an agreement on cooperation in the field of document production. The project envisages the manufacture and delivery of 1.5 million national identification cards and more than 500,000 biometric passports.
To implement the initiative, the company will be allocated a 4-hectare land plot where a production facility will be established. The project is expected to create new jobs and support the country’s economic development.
Founded in 2016, “Aýdyň gijeler” is one of Turkmenistan’s leading high-tech enterprises, producing a wide range of electrical and electronic products.
