The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania, Annamammet Annayev, held a meeting with the Vice-President of the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade, Doru-Claudian Frunzulică. This was reported by the news agency Orient.

The main focus was on preparations for the 8th meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, scheduled for autumn 2025.

The parties confirmed their desire to develop cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, energy, transport and digital transformation. The Turkmen side invited Romanian businesses to participate in exhibitions and tenders, while the Romanian side presented investment proposals to Turkmen partners.

The meeting highlighted mutual interest in strengthening economic ties and implementing joint projects.
