The next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan takes place on July 7–8 in Ashgabat. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Ataguliyev announced this at a reception marking Azerbaijan’s Independence Day, according to “Business Turkmenistan”.
According to the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, preparations for the meeting already continue. Ataguliyev stressed that the commission remains a key instrument in the development of bilateral relations, ensuring coordination and implementation of joint decisions.
Priority areas of cooperation include trade, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, industry and technology.
