In honour of the Constitution Day and the State Flag of Turkmenistan, as well as to mark the 30th anniversary of the country's neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust, a special action is being held at the central Independence Square (Merdeka Square) in Kuala Lumpur on 19-20 May. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

On the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia, images of the State Flag of Turkmenistan and the official logo of 2025 are being displayed on a giant screen. The event is particularly significant due to the fact that it is being held in one of the main squares of Malaysia, where the most important state events are traditionally celebrated.

This symbolic gesture reflects Malaysia's support for Turkmenistan's peace initiatives in the international arena and testifies to the strong friendly relations between the two countries.
