A delegation from Turkmenistan visited Moscow on a working visit within the framework of projects of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The delegation included representatives of relevant ministries, government agencies, universities and refrigeration industry enterprises, and this was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

The source noted that the purpose of the visit was to study best practices in the transition to natural refrigerants and increase energy efficiency.

As part of the program, the Turkmen delegation visited such enterprises as ‘Industrialnye Resheniya’ LLC, ‘Globus’ hypermarket with CO₂ cooling system, and ‘TehnoFrost’ plant in Vladimir region. Turkmen experts got acquainted with production processes and technologies based on natural refrigerants.

The delegation also participated in the conference ‘Energy Efficiency of Cooling Systems in the Context of Refusal of GFUs’ organized by UNIDO, the Scientific and Educational Center ‘KrioFrost Academy’ and ‘Rossoyuzholodprom’.

The visit ended with trainings on the safe use of natural refrigerants and presentation of certificates. The Turkmen side invited Russian experts to the CIET 2025 international exhibition and conference, which will be held in Ashgabat on November 3-5.
