A delegation from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, headed by Vice Chairman of the People's Government Wang Gang, arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit. The purpose of the visit is to discuss cooperation in agriculture. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

The Chinese representatives visited the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, where they familiarised themselves with the country's achievements in the agricultural sector. Meetings were also held with the leadership of the International Scientific-Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the ‘Turkmenpagta’ National Concern, which is responsible for the development of the cotton industry.

The first day of the visit ended with a performance by the ‘Galkynysh’ group and a show of national horse games at the Turkmen State Circus.
