From 21 to 23 May 2025 in Ashgabat in the hotel ‘Archabil’ the training ‘Modern methods of conducting classes’ was held within the framework of the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA-10). The international conference ‘Future We Want - Global Initiative for Young Leaders’ was held in Geneva on 16 May 2025. On 24 May, the Deputy Foreign Affairs Ministers of the Central Asia-China format countries met in Beijing. Turkmenistan was represented by Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Gurbanov. In order to modernise public utilities and improve the quality of public services for the population, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree allowing the Ashgabat city administration to sign a contract with the Chinese company Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. According to the document, within the framework of the agreement it is planned to purchase specialised vehicles, municipal machinery and equipment, as well as spare parts, designed to ensure the smooth operation of municipal services of the capital.
In order to provide Turkmenistan's agrarians with necessary phosphate fertilisers and develop the chemical industry, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on signing a contract with South Korean company Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. According to the document, the State Concern ‘Türkmenhimiýa’ is authorised to sign an agreement with a foreign partner for the design and construction of a production complex on the basis of Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A.Niyazov. The complex will annually produce 350,000 tonnes of superphosphate and 100,000 tonnes of ammonium sulphate.
