Turkmenistan and Pakistan held political consultations

Political consultations between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took place on 25 August. The Turkmen delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov, while the Pakistani side was headed by Syed Ali Asad Gillani, Additional Secretary for West Asia and Afghanistan at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Pakistan. The EU has provided support to children with disabilities in Turkmenistan

The event is organised by RX Austria-Germany-Salzburg, according to the news agency Orient. The exhibition will be held at the Design Center Linz and will bring together leading manufacturers and suppliers of electronics, household appliances and telecommunications solutions. The main focus will be on innovations in the field of ‘smart houses’, the development of sustainable e-mobility infrastructure, as well as the latest achievements in consumer electronics and smart technologies. Participation in EFHT 2025 will provide Turkmen companies with an opportunity to present their products to a wide professional audience, establish new business contacts, exchange experiences and explore prospects for entering the international market. Since its inception in 2017, the exhibition has established itself as a key platform for showcasing industry innovations and establishing cooperation. In 2024, EFHT was attended by more than 80 companies and over 1,900 specialists, including distributors, engineers and representatives of retail chains.


The Ambassador of Turkmenistan held a negotiation with the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan

On 22 August, Turkmenistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Shadurdy Meredov met with Uzbekistan's Minister of Health Asilbek Hudayarov. The parties discussed expanding cooperation in the field of medicine, according to the news agency Orient. It was noted that due to active intergovernmental contacts, cooperation in healthcare has also been strengthened. Today, more than 400 students from Turkmenistan are studying at Uzbek medical universities. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of joint initiatives, including the creation of the Alliance of Glaucomatologists of Central Asia and the signing of a memorandum at the International Ophthalmological Congress in Tashkent in 2024. Special attention was paid to the development of scientific exchange, quality control of medicines, the introduction of innovations, and the organisation of conferences and training courses. Cooperation with the medical cluster being created in the city of Arkadag and visits by Turkmen delegations to Uzbekistan were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to strengthen partnership in medicine for the health and well-being of the citizens of both countries.


Turkmen Ambassador discusses cooperation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea

The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, B. Durdyev. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan. From the podium of the conference, Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Kim Min-seok presented the new government's programme aimed at creating a specialised industrial complex to expand the use of renewable energy sources and accelerate the transition to a ‘green’ economy. On the sidelines of the event, the Turkmen Ambassador had a brief conversation with the Korean Prime Minister. Ambassador B.
