Turkmen delegation participates in ‘Margalla Dialogue 2025’ in Islamabad

Karayev, senior lecturer at the Institute of International Relations of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan, spoke at the ‘Margalla Dialogue 2025’ International Conference organised by the Islamabad Institute of Policy Research (IPRI). In his report, he presented a comprehensive overview of the main directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy and regional cooperation, emphasising the country's unwavering commitment to the principles of positive neutrality and open cooperation. Karayev noted significant progress on a number of key projects, including TAPI, TAP and other initiatives aimed at developing mutual trade, strengthening stability and expanding regional integration.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on the preparations for the meeting of the inter-governmental commission in Doha. The discussion focused on expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, transport, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Deputy Prime Minister Bahar Seyidova presented a draft resolution on the announcement of the annual ‘Türkmeniň Altyn asyry’ competition. Three creative competitions for young performers, musicians and young talents are planned. The results will be announced in September 2026. The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution and gave relevant instructions. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Affairs Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov presented information on preparations for the President's participation in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Leaders of Central Asian Countries in Tashkent and the upcoming state visit to Uzbekistan. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the strategic role of regional cooperation and instructed to ensure comprehensive preparation. At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the members of the Cabinet of Ministers success in their work and well-being.
